The auto lamp and auto temp sensors are built into the speaker grills and all model have those.

The Gen1 dash caps I looked at(for G and GL models) didn't have openings for the speakers, just perforated covering over the speaker areas.

This is the proper cap for any 90-91 Taurus:

I'd like to see more pics of these if any of you wind up getting them. I want one for the 89, but I want to make sure it's not too light. They have several different colors, but I guess you could always paint it a little darker to match if needed.
