I noticed under the dash, above the gas pedal there is a red wire with a connector(ring type) on it. Mine is unhooked. Does anyone know where this should be connected to or if it is supposed to be disconnected? It appears to be coming out of a black box above the gas pedal. Thanks!

Doesn't sound OEM. A ring terminal is usually a ground and that should be a black wire. Is the terminal crimped on or is it a molded type?

Most likely the ground wire for the Farenheit to Celsius conversion for the EATC display (atleast in my 95 it's confirmed).

Should this be hooked up? I'm having CE light issues(not working), and am looking everywhere for answers.
