Inspecting some exhaust stuff under the SHO today and saw the rear turbo had a very light skin of oil on it. How much time do I have? I have had the car for 20k miles (22-42k) and it's been thoroughly abused in that time. I am gonna drive it like a true grandpa driving a Taurus, but do I panic and buy a new turbo? Am I gonna be good for a while? I have a feeling I already know the answer...

Could just be a return line gasket failure, but chances are it's time! One of those better to replace before you absolutely need to kind of things.

Would it be considered the "right" turbo? And are upgraded IWG worth it? If the turbo is out, might as well upgrade something on it haha
