I didn't think these engines had any ring wear. :p

Depends on prior maintenance. I have a 3.2 block in my shed that's worn past spec. Going to the scrap yard when I get a chance!

because my compression tests were
1-180
2-185
3-180
4-125
5-175
6-150

And the low numbers jumped up after I squirted oil in them. Also the engine has been on the edge of overheating. Yes I replaced and checked everything and yes the temp gauge is working. I just need the car to last me another year. So, I ask again. Has anyone used the Autozone Hi-Tech #FO3.0RR01 re ring kit? Is the quality bad or is it an OK kit. Thanks.

Why not rebuild it, or sell it to someone to rebuild?
