R.I.P. Transmission

While out testing out my new VAK I finally discovered what my "odd" shifting at high speeds was. It was my wonderful Ford Auto Tranny going south like so many before it. That is at 34,000 miles which is REDICULOUS!!

So for all you guys who have done the rebuilds, how much am I in for?? Do you know any one in NC that knows much about them as well?

I wish you were up this way. I have a shop that does my trannies. $1585 with a shift kit and boy do they shift after that.

Make sure you get the TC rebuilt when the tranny comes out.
