question on a '93 GL

i have a question on my '93 gl. right behind the engine the is a wire just hanging there with a black 1 pin connector not plugged into anything, it is hanging way down by the transaxle, but is tie wrapped to the harness behind the engine, at the top. anyways, it is a single white with a pink stripe wire. does anyone know what this is for? i have no codes or warning lights.

Thats definately from a sender. Either cooling sender or oil sender.
It also could be from the knock sensor. Just look for a sender in that area of the engine and it will have a threaded stud on it.
