So I just picked up a quaifed trans for.......$500 :woo-hoo: and was just wondering since the stock diff was one of the main reason for running most of the thinner fluids we use, if any trans fluids work best with a quaifed trans or just the same old Amsoil ATF, GM Synchromesh ect ect... :thankyou:
All the SHOs there have rusted away, so the parts are cheap.
People seem to be having good luck with the Valvoline and Castrol ATFs. Like Marcel said, the Quaife makes a lot of heat when its working hard, and the wrong fluid is going to give you a lot of resistance to shifting.

Hey, Sam. Care to share how that's set up? Where did you run the lines and mount the pump?

That's why I run a Trans-Cooler with a Pump on the track car. This transmission stays plenty cool when it's getting a work-out.
