Sorry if this is in the wrong place, can happily move it.
I am beginning the process of selling my SHO. It has been an incredible car, but it is simply V8 time. As I'm sure we all know, it's very tough to find comps for these cars, so I thought I'd come to the experts here for thoughts on my potential price. I am located in Alberta, Canada.
My car:
The good:
-2016 SHO in Ruby Red, non-PP (so has adaptive cruise and SYNC3)
-only 109,000 km (~62,000 mi), accident free
-GH Tune and IC, Tony D trans mounts, whiteline sway bar. I have all stock parts if the buyer wants to revert
-Oil has been changed every 3-5000 KILOMETERS (every 6 months, I don't drive much)
-Water pump/timing chain/PCV valve were all done 4000 km ago (water pump didn't go, timing cover was just leaking)
-All fluids (coolant, trans, PTU, RDU, brake) changed at least once during my ownership (28,000 km)
-Summer tires have 15,000 km on them, comes with old winters on their own rims (AWD is generally a big plus up here as well)
The Bad:
-Decent number of rock chips and very light scratches in paint, car was never PPF'd by original owner
-Interior has a couple nicks in the leather, standard cracking on the side of the driver seat, pretty in line with the car's age and mileage
-Clearcoat is peeling in areas on the summer wheels, no curb rash though
When attempting my own research, I found only 1 other SHO in Canada with less than 160,000 kilometres that was listed for $22,000 CAD (15,800 USD). In the states, there are around 10 similar examples listed in the low to mid 20's USD. I know the market for these has generally gone down a lot but I am thinking I might list locally at $23,000 CAD (16,500 USD) and set my personal floor at $20,000 CAD (14,500 USD).
What do you guys think? What would you pay for this example?
