I have a '93 ATX with a small problem. When the engine warms up, say after 5 miles, and you have to stop the engine wants to stall. If you shift into nuetral, the engine idles down but will stay running, albeit barely. I ran codes and got front and rear O2 lean and EGR not switching codes, so I will start there, but would these items cause the engine to want to stall?? any advice would be great!!

I know that plugged nostrils/bad EGR valve will cause the engine to stall out. Not too sure on the O2 sensors though. I'd replace the O2's, and remove and clean the EGR and nostrils and see if that helps.

I'm by no means a diagnostic pro, but if both the front and rear O2 sensors are indicating lean, I would think that points to a good possibility that the lean condition truly exists (i.e. the O2 sensors are probably working fine).

Just a thought.
