I am planning on upgrading my 500 to a Taurus. I am considering the limited wad and the SHO. One big question is the suede. I know the suede holds up well to stains, but don't know if the pet hair sticks like cloth or how easy it cleans up compared to straight leather.

I don't think the suede is as bad at grabbing on to hair as the carpet is, but that would be the case with just about any car. My vacuum seems to vacuum up hair and the little bit of cat fur that finds its way to my seats just fine, but the carpet doesn't seem to want to let go of it.

Vacuum first, Then use a whisk broom or stiff brush to sweep the carpet. And use tape wrapped around your hand to pick the piles up. That always works for me. 3 cats and 3 females with long hair in this house.

Now my wife probably wouldn't mind the Schticky if it came with someone to clean the car for her! :)

You guys are right, unless you are going all vinyl flooring, the carpet is the worst.

I appreciate the good feedback. Good to hear that it is manageable and cleans up decent. It sounds like the suede is overall much better on many levels than I initially thought it would be.

+1 on the carpet of this car. I've always cleaned and detailed my own cars and the carpet in the 2010 Taurus is bar far the hardest to get clean.

I drive my dog with me to work everyday. I don't EVER let him stand or sit directly on top of the suede. I have a towel and blanket that he sits on. Their paws and nails could probably do some damage over some time. Just put something down, and you should be fine.
