This is an update of what Gary sent me. Let me know what you guys think. It appears that he is limited to what fonts he has, but I'll ask him to make sure. He hasn't told me if he can make other cars too, like the Thunderbird SC.

The update isn't quite the font that I had hoped, something a little bit closer. Since he was able to copy the mach 1 logo, I'm hoping he would be able to do the same with the SHO's. I sent him a cropped image of the trunk badge from the '10 and also a cropped one from the NESHO banner. How do you guys feel if it just said SHO? Gary just hasn't really answered my questions about it and if he can do other cars. Here's the trunk badge I sent him.



I also suggested Arial Black below. I don't know if that's what that is on the 2nd one he sent.

I agree, and to keep things simple maybe we should just go with this.

I measured on my 92, and it looks like a good place for this to go underhood would be on the plastic radiator cover, on the skinny part.

I took a pic, the area I'm speaking of is where the "Yamaha" decal is now.

The 1 3/4 x 4 1/2 size would fit perfectly here.

I'll measure the "SHO" logo on my 3.4L v8 engine cover this evening, as it's at home and I'm at work, unless someone else happens to be able to in the mean time? Also, any word if he could do "3.4L 32 valve V-8" instead of the "3.5L ecoboost twinturbo v-6"? I'd prefer it to say just "SHO"...but I am not complaining about the "taurus SHO"

I'm sure that he can put any engine on there since the VIN and name for each tag will be unique. I'd rather have it say just SHO myself, but using the badge image that I sent. I'm waiting to hear back from him. I sent the badge images to a buddy of mine that has a full copy of Phtoshop. Hopefully he can make a really clean crop of it.

Interested, I like the SHO font on the GEN 1 and 2 engine and the Gen 3 engine cover. It would give some family tie to the Gen 4 in that font as well. Let me know so I can get in on this too. Outstanding find, thank you for bringing it to us.

DDakRT sent me a Gen 3 (?) logo and I used the trunk badge from a Gen 4. These I can live with. I'm thinking we can come up with 2 or 3 different versions of the tags with the logos below. Let me know what you guys think.

Here's the Gen 4 logos. I'm not totally satisfied with them, just a little fine tuning on them and I'll call 'em done. I'm leaning towards putting TAURUS SHO on the Gen 4 tag. I only have SHO for the other one.

The sliced in the middle one Mike is the Gen 2 logo, not the Gen 3. Your idea for the Gen 4 is fine too with the Taurus SHO buddy. Keep up all the hard work.

DDakRt sent me the Gen 2 logos, including the sliced one, but I need them in .jpg format. As it stands now, we got the Gen 4 tags and Gen 2. One thing that bothers me is the letters of the SHO logo is thinner than the letters of the TAURUS logo's letters. I'll see if i can can fix that.

I made the Taurus and SHO logo from the trunk badges and edited them on the concept ID tag that Gary sent me. I really like the way it turned out, hope you guys do to. I need to get the sliced Gen 2 logo in .jpg format from DDakRT. I'm guessing you guys want the sliced one and not the solid one. I'll make a Gen 2 tag once I get the file.

That looks great! Thanks for all your hard work, and I do hope if a group buy or something similar happens, you end up getting yours free of charge. It's the least we could do, IMO.

I just sent Gary the files of the logos I made a little while ago. I'm hoping that he can make the Gen 4 ID tag just like the one I posted. Once Gary gets the finalized ID tags, I'll post them and also his email address where you guys can contact him with the information to make your own tag. For anyone that doesn't have the build date for their car, you can go to your dealer's service department and ask them to print out an Oasis report, if you guys didn't already know that.
