Ok I have a ticking sound coming from under the car. It is on the passenger side, in the back of the enigine bay. The sound starts only after the car warms up and gets worse the warmer the engine gets. Also it only ticks when the gass pedal is depressed (most noticable around 3k rpm). I replaced the fuel pump thursday thinking that was the problem (I wan't able to tell if it was front or back seeing I was in the car). It was the same kind of ticking my last car's fuel pump was making when it went bad. Any idea on what to replace next? I am now thinking it is the water pump (car is in need of a 60k {120k actually}). Anyways let me know your idea etc.

131k... It sucks, but now I am getting a 4x4 something for the winter. The SHO will sit till spring when I get a 3.2, tranny rebuild, flywheel, and quaiffe installed.

I wish I read this a few days ago because same thing just happened to me a few weeks ago cry I had 121k on mine when she died. Well, I'm trying to think positive so I'm starting my 3.2 conversion to my MTX. I have the parts car and am going to rebuild it and hopfully she'll be out again next spring. If you can pick up a parts car cheep and part it out you can probably make enough off it to cover the cost but that's assuming you have some time on your hands.

BEWARE OF THE TICK OF DEATH FELLOW SHO DRIVERS!

Good luck
