I believe this car belongs to someone by the name of Pat Miles.

Okay...so I have decided just the hood and trunk. My father is the one who came up with the stripes idea as soon as he saw what I had bought.

I am leaning towards siver still, but this gunmetal idea has caught my attention. Although I think a darker duller green would be good for the gunmetal.

Randy, stripes on ebay are pretty cheap. Either that or you buy a couple yards of contact paper and try that way. Id go with wide stripes with a small pinstripe on either side, 69 T/A style :D

My brother-in-law is a cop, he loves juvenile types who put racing stripes on their cars; he knows they are also the type that do burn-outs, race, hot rod, use cars as toys, so with the stripes he can spot them right away and watch them. Gets his quota of tickets faster! Lucky you dont post your town! Professionals who race cars do not have stripes on their street cars because they are adults.

You should consider a stripe in chameleon paint. Have one shade match your current paint, and it would look really nice.

instead of the ghost flames that people are useing make them Ghost stripes. Also There is a new glow in the dark (tottaly serious) white looking paint. that might look ok, but I havent seen it yet just in out paint books.

I was thinking a few months ago do do a slight dust coating of it on mycar.

Remember the old Shelby's? If I remember correctly (from an old Mustang do-it-yourself paint book) the stripes were 2" apart all along the length of the car and each stripe was 9" at the start of the hood and 10" at the base of the windshield and 10" all the way to the back.

What about white stripes and white filled in lettering with powdercoated white wheels?

have u decided randy? i def think you shoudl do it and when u do i want to see pics. i really like that white sho with blue stripes. if i had the money and was repainting my car and planning on doign other mods i would do the same blue stripes. i saw a 3000gt a few months back and the grey was to dark on the hunter green paint. i think u should do a silver or a light grey. battleship grey perhaps? what does gu8nmetal gray look like? the same as battleship gray?

The same guy that painted my car wanted to shoot black stripes on my car(green). I thought it would look better if you did a dark/gunmetal gray rather than silver. I think the silver will take away from the fresh kick ass green paint.
I was leaning towards this, or better yet, a nice titainium.

Other than that, I was thinking of the offset decals n the drivers side with a one about2-3in wide and a smaller one on the inside or outside...I am sure someone knows what I mean.
