As a side note, I've been using Ford's nav built into my SHO for a week. I've been using Waze alongside the Ford nav. Ford's nav is rather disappointing. Ford nav does the job, I guess, it will get you there, but not in the best way.

I've been wondering if the XM navigation add on would help with that but didn't want to pony up the $$ until I was sure and it seems like the sales people over there will tell you whatever you want to hear as long as they make the sale.
Which XM traffic add-on do you have? What information does it tell you, aside from directions? How do the directions do compared to Waze?I have it. It does work pretty good if you don't use any other app for traffic. I do like the other information that it can provide as well.
If I wasn't back in school and still working I would totally get the R7 as my next detector. Heck it's not that much more than what I spent on the R3 when I bought it. Just watched it vs the new Valentine gen 2.The only ****** I would consider is the 360, and, even then, I'd probably get the Uniden R7 instead.

Compared to Waze for directions it sucks. However the infotainment feature is cool. Live fuel prices and locations, sports, movie threatre times (when they were open), live weather with radar, ect.
All done, I want to go drive it around now, just to try it out. Too bad I have a few more work calls before I can call it a day. I guess it will have to wait until tonight.
That's why you have to get the new HotRod Inc. Model 10,000. It has a patented radar detector detector detector cutoff switch that will disengage your unit's signal at the first hint off those pesky radar detector detectors. It'll even send out a concentrated EMP that fries all electronics within a 5 meter radius of the offending radar detector detector's location. That means that any potential pursuit is neutralized and you can go on about your way. Once the unit confirms that the EMP was effective, it automatically reengages it's full capabilities and green lights you to press fully with your right foot again. *(This should in no way be seen as a statement diminishing those who prefer to use their left foot for pressing the accelerator on their car.)Don't they have radar detector detectors?
I'm not afraid of cops, I'm afraid of insurance which is mandatory here and crazy expensive. A ticket usually means +100/month on your insurance.
You got a groupon or discount code on those? That's why you have to get the new HotRod Inc. Model 10,000.
