I've got an oil leak where the oil cooler mounts to the mouting "bracket" (makes sense?). The mounting bracket was replaced ealier this year. I have to add about a quart a month (say 900-1200 miles). I heard this just may be a SHO thing and alot of SHOs have this problem.

Any suggestions? I have taken it all apart yet, have to change oil/filter next weekend anyway.

I have an oil leak there too. If the cooler has been taken off the Oring is very difficult to get back in correctly as it will swell up. What's even harder is finding the Oring as Ford won't sell it seperately.

This spring I took my cooler off, couldn't get the Oring back in so I used silicone. It is now leaking again but I think if I had used more silicone it would be ok still.

I also think the Oring which I've had hanging in the garage has probably shrunk to the original size so I am going to try to put it back on.

The back bumper on my car has aan oil film after my recent 700 mile trip this weekend. Only one quart of oil. shoot
