Mostly made in unobtainium now...

I replaced the exact same hose this spring with a generic one. It was a Pita because mine doesn't have curve in it and there is not much space there.

After some time watching this, I came to wandering if we can interchange the hose placement, the short hose exiting the engine plugged on the other plug and the longer one going on the plug nearer of the engine (the one going to waterpump).

The only change is the coolant flow in the cooler is reversed. Hose replacement could be very simplier then. Maybe a veteran can confirm this.

My experience earlier this year, left me walking to the nearest Autozone to get one and performing the surgery in a gas station. I used a standard hose as the OEM styles are not available. Cut to the right length you shouldn't have to worry about kinks in the hoses.

Oil cooler to engine block is : 9/16" ID. Pretty sure its the same for the oil cooler to the coolant pump.

I caught mine in time mine was gummy and swollen badly in one area. i just a straight hose piece have a slight kink in it but a small kink is better than a potential burst.

I sized the oil cooler line barbs at 14.02 and 14.10 mm respectively and just ordered up a gates 20605 for the block to cooler hose - will update when this arrives to see if this will work out for others as a solution - similar to what i had to do with the idler pulleys....
