Looking to delete the factory oil cooler and then use a filter relocation kit. What size is the thread into the block and does anyone know of a source for the bung I would need?

I appreciate the info! I’m deleting it due the engine being in a Ranger swap and the exhaust collector wanting to occupy the space where the filter currently resides. So the adapter would go to the remote filter on the inner fender, then to a traditional air/oil cooler, then back to blockM20-1.5 in block.
The oil cooler is there for a reason.
You can relocate filter without deleting cooler.

Nothing yet. But it appears many oil filter relocation kits come with that fitting. I have two kits already that have imperial thread, so I hate to buy a whole kit for one fitting but it’s looking that waywhat solution did you end up coming up with? Looking at a similar space related need, and would love to see if we can share notes...
