Ohm -resistance in spark plug wires?

What should I expect to get when measuring resistance on a set of plug wires (assuming they are good wires?)
I got anywhere from 9.91 to 14.6x, mostly increasing from shortest wire to longest, although the shortest wire had one of the highest readings.

I checked the resistance in a old set I've got setting in the garage and they range from 4.5 to 15.0.I do you want to have the lowest resistance possible.I also checked a brand new set still in box and they range from 3 to about 7 ohms but even the longest one had the lowest resistance.I hope this info helps you out with your question. thumbs_u

I have not seen a specification for the SHO, but other DIS systems allow for 1k Ohms of resistance per inch of cable.
Therefore a 10 inch spark plug cable would be allowed 10k Ohms before rendering the ignition system unreliable. Ofcourse, lower resistance would always be a plus.
Again, it may be a completely different story for the SHO.

My '93 Helm states wrt plug wires to "REPLACE if greater than 7000 ohms per foot."
