5 lbs when you should be at 40? And that is why there is no wear on the bearings? You should have gotten a second opinion. Nothing there looks bad and with 0 oil cirulation at idle, those bearings would look like chew toys.99V8SHO:
The bearings have no damage because in the highre RPMs (where I do most of my driving ) the oul pressure is not too terribly horrible..
Me suspects your mechanic read oil pressure with his Snap On scanner instead of actually installing a mechanical gauge. The problem there is that if your sender is bad, the scanner displays the wrong info.
