I can more see everyone being drunk, pooling money and buying one on the net as a "club car" ...... then waking up and realizing waht you did...worse than going to bed and waking up next to that girl from the bar. You know that girl...everyone has woken up to her at least one time in their lives and had to gnaw their arm off to get away

In other news... I've recently bolstered my tolerance at a nice place in South Hampton called The Boardy Barn. It's only open on Sundays, from 4 til 8. $15 cover, and however many $2 beers you can drink before they close. I went in with a Benjamin. I came out with a Jefferson, a fuzzy memory, and a bunch of NC-17 pictures on my cell phone.

Thats so funny you say that. My grandparents live in southampton, and my boy from amityville goes to the boardy barn all the time. Ive gotten smashed in there a couple times too many. Now I know that shit is popular if people are coming all the way out from Queens to go there!! haha

ok so thats 5 so far...i thought there would be a little more interest than this but who knows there is still over a week to go so....

on a side note it turns out there is a Patriots game at the stadium the night of the BBQ...so those folks who are coming,especially from the south,may want to come up a little early as traffic does become a nightmare around here.Prob coming up sometime mid afternoon would prob be best.If any one needs a hand with directions or anything like that feel free to contact me. Don't forget we would like to know by Weds night whos def going so the supplies can be picked up......

Sorry guys looks like I might not be able to make this meet either. I don't know when I will be getting my SHO back hopefully sometime before the end of the summer so I can atleast drive it once before its gets stored. I haven't driven it in 3 1/2 months I'm having such bad SHO withdrawals. The last meet is in September hopefully I'll be able to see you guys at that one. I'll keep you all posted on the car and I got some huge plans coming for it this winter.

Oh no Jay what happened??

Don't forget the deadline for RSVP is Wednsday...the only reason we are asking to do this is so we have enough supplies on saturday..for anyone who still needs to respond either pm me or call me at 774-291-6548,plus i can also be text messaged at the posted number,i am off all day tommorrow so dont worry about me being at work if you plan on calling.

Another note of interest,besides planning around stadium traffic there is actually an excellent cruise night in Millis which is about 15 to 20 minutes from Kens house...its a great take and something to keep in mind before we actually cook(and drink)...

Another point of interest is if anybody from say like the north shore coming via the expressway wants to meet up with me in Quincy i get out of work at 4 then we can caravan from there...

Happy to say this but there is a possibilty I MIGHT be in for this bbq. I'm picking the car up tonight from Fred and then I'm hopefully going to have the hood repainted by Friday so I should be able to finally make it out to see all of you considering it's been a while. Can't wait to finally drive the car again, haha.

It'll be nice seeing the car drive home - when I saw the car on the flatbed coming in a couple of weeks ago & hearing the horror stories of the past I was wondering how big a mess it was going to be.

John, when you swing down tonight, make sure there's room in the "taxi" for the extra intake & stuff. I can put it in a trash bag or something, but wouldn't want to mess up the leather, you know?

Haha, yeah that leather is too comfortable. I'll be coming down with my father in the explorer so they'll be more then enough room. We're leaving here round 4:30 to avoid the beginning of traffic, should be at the shop round 6:00. How do you like your coffee?

Sent you an email with directions, car's at the house so I can keep an eye on it (2 neighbors are cops, nice safe neighborhood) & keep the shop driveway dust off it.
