What is the deal on this?... I was reading some things about running nitrous and how it might be beneficial to run a few degrees ******** and that pulling this connector will retard 3 degrees. If I am running 93 octane all the time, would it be a good idea to pull this, or does this relate to teh knock sensor, and throw off all of the timing?...

Also would it be a good idea that if I am running N2o that i should pull it before using the nitrous.... it would only be a 75 shot and i havent heard much about this connector...

You are correct. If you pull the shorting bar from the connector, the PCM will pull 3 degrees of timing from the total spark advance. That's a really good idea when running the juice without a dyno to check things out.

does it look just like the spout... it seems the spout is near the back of the engine, by the firewall, and what I found, the shorting bar is near the coilpack... i think i recall a piece similar to that bar located near the coilpack...

Yeah, it's the same kind of jumper and connector as the SPOUT. Somewhere under the upper rad hose.

I found an old post of yours about wiring in a bypass with the arming switch... how did you do that?... did you use a relay and short to ground before the jumper?... like a splice into the wire that was a short to ground?...

Actually, I just tied into the wiring and used a DPDT switch for my nitous arming switch. When the nitrous is off, the octane bar is closed. When I armed the system, it opened the circuit.

Run 93 octaine gas when you spray. You don't need to pull any timing at a 75 shot setting.
