When using a breaker bar on your lower control arm, remember to pull back your brake rotor dust shield when you are done. It makes nasty metal on metal grinding noise when you drive home.

Naw its my fault for not thinking about it. I didnt hear it until I got home and the noise was echoing off the buildings. I thought that I was having a rubbing issue with the tires. I finally parked it, found the tires had plenty of space and stuck my hand behind the wheel and bent them back out.

Did you get your tranny put back together the same night Mike?

Yup....Brian and I got it together and running that night...well it was 12:15. I drove home the next day just in case. Car runs great. Smooth as silk clutch pedal. Dont know how it grabs yet as I have only put 150 city miles on it. 350 city miles to go, then the real test will begin. As much work as it was to get all of that in there, I am hesitant to beat on my ride. Dont want to do that work again any time soon.

I must say, Beth's transmission is the *******. I like how it feels and responds.

Aaron, did you get all four corners done? Sorry I had to leave so early. I really wanted to help you and Mike out more, but my parents wanted to have dinner then go to the car show.

nope, all went well. Just took my time puting all the stuff together. Too many projects going on for others to jump in.

Oh and note to Tom: them belt buckle marks and your sledge marks buffed right out. Car feels like glass and shifts like butter and looks really sweet.
