I have a White 1995 SHO that I would like to sell. If you are looking for a clean body SHO of this vintage. This would be a very good candidate.
The car original came from Arizona back around 2005. I found this listed and flew down to Mesa to buy the car. Test drove the car and
it performed fine. Made the deal and began the drive home to Minnesota. Car drove great up until the last gas stop in southern Minnesota.
I began to pull away from the station. When I went to pull out the tranny began to slip in first gear. So, I slipped it in second manually and
was able to pull into traffic. Shifted to drive and was able to get all the way home.
This was a disappointment to say the least. I was not prepared to repair this. I drove the car a few more times using second to pull away.
This was not a good long term solution. I traveled every week for my job and did not have the time to deal with it. So the car got parked.
I had to get the wife a car and I found a Jaguar XJ6 that she loved.
I always meant to get back to this car. But the years just passed by while the car sat next to the garage. A few years back, a good friend of
mine was over and saw the car. He stated that he always wanted an SHO. I asked him if he was serious. He was, so I gave him the car along
with all the spare parts I had accumulated from a donor car. I have a spare engine and tranny. A full set of Slicer wheels, spare axles and
steering rack. Interior panels and a bunch of new parts. I even have the factory service manuals for this car. He was a great friend and he got it all.
My friend got the car running but decided to do some service updates on the car. He started changing the timing belt when bad news arrived.
They learned his wife has Cancer. He called and asked if I could take the car back. He didn't feel right selling it, he couldn't keep it with
this on his plate. I said he was a great friend. A few months after giving the car back to me. My friend was killed when a deer ran into his
motorcycle on the way to work. It knocked him into the oncoming lane of a truck and trailer followed by a semi truck. It's been hard to deal with.
So, now I have it back and am just finally getting back to dealing with the car. The body is clean and free of any rust that I can find.
The rockers and doors look good. The shock towers are clean. The car needs work, but it's a good foundation. I just don't have the time
or interest any longer. Doesn't feel right.
I now have a number of Jaguars sitting in my driveway and all my car hobby time goes to them.
With all the extras. I'm looking to get $3800.00 for the works. The car will need to be towed and the buyer will need a truck for the engine and tranny.
I can load the engine with a ceiling hoist. All the tires are holding air. I also have a basic VIN report that shows the cars history.
This car has never been hit. It needs a new windshield and a paint job aside from the basic engine work. You may also want to invest some
money into new leather seat covers. The Arizona sun did a number on the seats.
Please do not contact me with any requests for a new VIN report from a site of your choice. I will not respond and you will be wasting your time and mine.
If you want to pull your on VIN report, I will provide the VIN. But that is all. I'm not going to play games with scammers.
I'm working on getting better photos on this listing.
