Hi guys, long time reader first time poster lol. Anyway I have a 95 atx with 62,000 original miles(this thing is mint!) well my problem is that sometimes on a fully warmed up start it likes to almost die on me so I'll hit the gas, put it in gear and go. Now it doesn't do this all the time just occasionally. It also does it sometimes after driving and putting it into park...it never happens while driving. CE light comes on after about 5 mins of driving, goes away if I open the throttle reAl good and comes back once I resume cruising. Went to get my codes checked and it came back with absolutely nothing! Someone plz help thx

Start with the 02 sensors, and take it somewhere where they really read the codes, or do it yourself using the how-to from this forum. Search the topic on here and you will get the instructions of how to get the codes using a paper clip.

Ok thx guys I'll give the 02 sensors a shot....I just replaced the plugs and wires 3k ago so I hope that's not the problem. What about a dirty IAC or MAF?

Have you tried going through the idle reset procedure? You can try driving it with the MAF unplugged a see if it is any worse; doesn't cost anything to try that. I don't think the IAC would result in a code being set intermittently. Oh, does it have EGR?

I'll do the reset precedure as well and do I need to drive my car around with the MAF unplugged or just start it in my driveway unplugged?

Drive it enough to see if the stalling still occurs with MAF unplugged. Won't hurt anything.

Stalling never occurs while driving....rpms fluctuate slightly but it's only occasionally when starting warm or throwing into park after engine has had a chance to warm up..I'll b replacing o2 sensors shortly hopefully it'll resolve my issue....also I have a very tiny radiator leak coming out from the front of the car on my drivers side but I can't pinpoint where it's at hopefully it's not leaking on anything before hitting the ground

My orignal O2's lasted 140k and were still good. Before throwing money at parts, and replacing O2's might also be a slight vacuum leak on the intake from a cracked or loose tube/hose. Tighten down all the snake couplers, and look around at all the vac lines, hoses. Radiator leaks are common from the plastic side tanks on SHO's and cannot be repaired; the only choice is replacing it with a new one.

If your check engine light comes on, then you should have a code. Did you have the battery unhooked prior to reading them? This would cause them to clear. First step would be checking the codes. Without that info I dont want to speculate.

I've checked for codes numerous times and it tells me there isn't anything wrong. My ce light only comes on after 5 mins of driving and goes away if I WOT and comes back after I resume cruising...if I shut the car off and restart, no ce light until I drive it again. I was also thinking a vacuum leak as well but can't seem to find anything. Wish I was more mechanically inclined :/

My 94 MTX did the EXACT same thing. Both O2's were in fact bad. Was causing the car to run lean
