Noisy Speedo

Since I have the dash all apart, I want to see if I can quiet my speedo. I will do a search on this topic, but does any one suggest the best way to do this? What worked for you?

Pull the inner cable(the one that turns) out of the speedo cable and **** it up with some grease, then re-install. If it's actually the speedometer making noise, then I'm not sure how to solve that.

I had the same problem with mine. It was not the cable at all it was the speedo head itself. Have you ever checked the speedo to see if it is right. Mine was off alot 10-20km. You may need to replace the speedo.
