Just returned from a deployment to the sand box and once again tried to start the SHO. Trouble shot further and turns out the battery voltage across the CKP, coil, and ignition fuse is good when in run position but drops to zero when I turn to start. Looked at wiring diagrams and saw the ignition switch should be the problem. Everything else goes in sequence fine, the starter turns, fuel psi, etc. Switched out ignition switch, same thing. Checked across red/light green in igntion switch and voltage went to zero there too. Hot wired into backside of ignition switch in despiration and the Yamahammer fired up just fine. Wow, much relief was felt at that time due to me not knowing if all my replaced items were bad or good. CKP, camshaft position sensor, wires, IRCM, and computer were all replaced after initial no start. Now I'm at a loss as to explain where the voltage is going and why. Are there any similiar problems seen by anybody or can anybody help me. This problem so far is kicking my ***!

From looking at the schematic, I would say that the IGN Switch is still bad. It is an internal set of contacts that is supposed to supply the R/LG wire when in START and RUN. Nothing external is involved that I can see in the drawings. Was the replacement switch new or used? If new, what brand an part number?

Only other possibility is a flakey 60A fuse. There are two of them, IIRC. Tray swapping them.
