Ok, I did this on my friend's 93 TBird SC wth no problems. My EEC connector only has 3 places to plug into. #2, #4 and $5
There is nothing in #6 (which was fuel pump on the SC)

What else can I do? I'm replacing tank, pump, filter, sending unit, etc.
Have 1/2 tank of fuel...I think.

Under car now...anyone?

Also if ya can find a wiring diagram you should be able to run power through one of the wires on the ccrm.

I was not aware of a switch in the trunk. So I just lowered the back of the tank with hoses disconnected and drained a little at a time in an oil change catch pan. Ended up draining about 5 gal this way.
Then I removed the tank slowly and siphoned the rest out. Was another 5 gal in there.

93 Oct is like gold these days...wasn't wasting a drop!! I was a little peeved that so much spewed out when I disconnected the filter without relieving some pressure first...my bad. LOL

This wiring issue may explain why my ODB1 scanner won't work too.
