Hello,

I am working towards swapping a v6 SHO engine into a e30. I have mated a honda s2000 6 speed transmission behind the engine, but have not put them in the car yet. Unfortunately I'm loosing my work space soon, so I need to get rid of the donor SHO.

I found Off Road SHO's thread on wiring a SHO motor into something else, but I am interested in using the wiring harness from the SHO and just putting it in my e30. My question is what control modules do I need to get from where in order to make this possible?

You mean from the donor car? If you use the original wiring setup you need the computer behind the glovebox, the control relay module above the radiator usually has a single letter code on top like D or M, the ignition module mouinted on the side of the intake, and all the sensors you can salvage. One in the airbox, the MAF from the intake hose between the airbox and the throttle body, throttle position sensor on the side of the throttle body, The camshaft sensor and the crankshaft position sensor, the baro sensor (like a manifold pressure sensor except vents to atmosphere mounted on the firewall, coolant sensors and knock sensor mounted on the block and near the throttle body., coolant level sensor mounted in the overflow coolant tank. can't think of what else I'm missing...

If you still have the wiring harness mounted at the firewall you need to release it from the computer on the other side of the firewall by unscrewing the bolt that holds everything tight from the harness connector to the threaded hole in the computer housing before you try yanking them apart.

You may want the fuel pressure regulator if you are using the original fuel rails and injectors. i"m sure I'm missing something
