I bought a 2015 SHO, well kept up with from the previous owner who’s a friend of mine.

Drove great for a few months before it felt like connection to one of the turbos had dropped yet i could tell one was still working. Shortly after, doing some driving to get a feel for what it could be, all connection dropped, the engine shut off, power still on to the vehicle, speedometer dropped, a/c options greyed out, caused me to have to coast to the nearest neighborhood, and had to get it towed.

It would start up and the engine would sound great but would shut back off.

Got it towed to, from what I’ve heard, a reputable shop and a month later was told i need a new engine. I’ve heard of so many different reasons this could happen as well as the buddy i bought it off of gave me good insight on what other parts it could be. My buddy also with his upkeep, found it very hard to believe it was a blown engine or something internal.

I’m not very advanced in cars let alone a SHO. Anyone that had any ideas or insight would be so so appreciate. I’m a bit stuck.

First thing I would check is high
pressure and low pressure fuel pump actual values vs desired values.

Fuel pump module in the trunk is where I'd start.
