I have a 2010 SHO, shortly after buying I noticed a small oil leak. Took it to the shop and had the hose replaced that runs from the front turbo to the oil pan, brought the car home and now I have white smoke coming from both exhaust while idling and it gets worse when I press the gas. The car runs and drives as if nothing is wrong with it. It doesn’t get hot and is not losing coolant. I paid over $6000 cash and this car has sat in my driveway for over 6 months,I’m desperate to find out what the problem is
I will try to post a video shortly

people will ask if you plugged in and started pulling any dtc codes from the computer. grab Forscan and from my signature the USB OBDI cable.

Start here

Dont worry about the backstory @SHOdded explains the possible reason for the white smoke. My fears are similar - turbos needed new pre filters and they were getting clogged now with the new hose you are seeing the age. Another bad sign is water pump failure - then water gets mixed with oil, that is easier - puil the dipstick and see if the oil is golden-brown - but NOT milky.

I have not tried a code reader yet
I have had a compression test done and everything came back fine there, all the spark plugs were pulled and none of them had oil on them. When I pull the dip stick the oil is golden drown.. nothing milky
I wish I could describe the smell from the smoke but I can’t. All I can say is it’s strong and literally turns my stomach

Read that post from SHOdded - he also talks about the TSB for the 2010-14 valve covers, they can cause smoking. You will need to start gathering more info - the pics of the white smoke are fine - lets also see what others weigh in about.

with this engine family (cyclone), the primary issues have been with the items attached to the long block/external to the actual engine - water pump, timing chains, vct solenoids, etc. further complicated by adding turbocharging and plastic piping/clamps.

i would check the intercooler also it may be blowing some of the collected oil/fuel/water mess thru the engine. make it routine to check and clean out the intercooler - nothing fancy needed to do that unless you want it spotless.

Check the Blow Off Valve - it might not be opening or fully closing the diaphram can go as well. Those are on top of the engine, one located by the firewall the other near the front of the car.
