Need everyone's expertise, Getting a "whooshing" sound from the rear (left) turbo on acceleration only, increases/decreases with speed. The sound is constant when accelerating or decelerating until I get to a low speed and then it disappears. It is NOT the Blow off valve, completely different sound. No loss of power, no codes/warning lights. This does not happen at idle or at low speed. It sounds like perhaps one of the gaskets has a leak? Could it be a bearing getting ready to go? It sounds like wind but then again it's high pitched like a bearing BUT then again it's not always present. A bearing should make the sound all the time. Car runs great. I have no experience with turbos so I am wondering if it could be the gasket just beyond the turbo impeller where the gases exit the turbo? I actually thought it was an A/C issue at first but then I turned of the climate controls and it was still there. I dont know if anyone else has had this issue but if so please chime in..I am a bit worried about it.
