My rear driver door wont open..

When i bought the car it was like that. I thought i could fix it myself.. Anyone come across a problemlike that? I pulled the door cover off, and played around but couldn't get it open.,.

sounds like the problem I am having with my front passanger door...

I gotta get it open and change the latch...
