OK, I am having a real tough time figuring this one out. The ABS light is on. The fuse keeps blowing (the **** fuse in the Engine bay) and I reallt don't think that it is related to the Stereo.
The ABS light comes on and knocks out the Electronic climate control for about a second or two, then the climate control resets and comes back on, and the ABS light stays on. If I feather the gas, then I can usually get a few blocks, or so without any troubles, but if I give the car any jerky movements, or even normal acceleration with the pedal, it does this thing. you can usually restart teh car, as it does not blow the fuse all of the time. It only blows the fuse about one in 5 times that it does this. Then, if the fuse is blown, then the ABS light comes on for good (obviously) and the Climate control will function normally, never resetting itself at all.
I thought that it may have something to do with the stereo amps in the back trunk, and the grounds and such, but I even disconnected the main fuse at the battery to the amps, so that they do not come on and it still does the ABS thing.
I am at a loss for this problem. I am thinking that this may have something to do with the ABS computer power supply or ground, or maybe one of the wheel sensors.
Do the wheel sensors have a electrical connector that maybe could be loose, or have a dirty connection? If so, where are the connectors located? I would like to get them cleaned.
Where is the ground wire for the ABS computer? I would like to check this also.
Can someone shed some light on this situation? I would like to have ABS again.
Thanks for your input.
