I have a 95 ATX that has developed a slight rod knock. I hasn't spun a bearing yet, is it still worth doing the rod bearings or will the noise come back? Also I noticed there are different size bearings when I tried to order them, do the SHO's actually have different size bearings or am I safe to order the standard size? My last questing, is the size stamped on the bearing or do I have to get a gauge to measure them?

I would pull it apart and see if there is any scratching of the crank journal. If so, the crank will need to be reground. If not, new bearings should make it all better. The standard bearings are almost certainly what you will need unless its been ground.

Most likely the crank hasn't been turned, Like Rudy said, std rodbearings is all you need in there

What's the best place to order the bearings from. I'm assuming there isn't mich out there as far as quality goes, I'm more concerned with shipping. I can actually still get them from Ford and I think they were kind of cheap to, but they were sold as individual bearings at like 7.00 a piece.

www.rcmautomotive.com is the best place to buy them, or you can you on ebay and I think he sells them there to. You might catch a break and get them at a great price IMHO
