I lost my first set at about 118k just lost my third set with only 3k miles on them. Stigan is the brand of turbos. I am thinking I am having a oiling issue to the turbos as not having in oiling issues to the rest of the engine. I had a major blue smoke issue the fix was a new PVC and the filter/box under the PVC I had it smoke again for a short period if time say 800 miles later I lost the turbos.

Could some how the PVC system be messing with the oiling of the turbos?
Any one hear of something blocking the oil going to the turbos?
Any help please
Thanks Keith

when the turbos got changed did you inspect or replace the screens in the end of the oil feed line to make sure they didn't get plugged?

The oil screen is not part of the line. It is a separate part that goes in the banjo fitting of the oil line. Oil supply line filter AA5Z-6C683-A

A new one should be installed when changing a turbo.

Thank you! I remembered seeing this post when I was taking my turbos off. Those filters were plugged up. I was looking on Tasca and that part is not called out anywhere. Even when I put that part number in, it does not show an application. I added a pair to my parts order. $15 is some nice insurance to make sure the turbos are well-fed.
