Shame about the boat. Wranglers are shit, in my opinion. Too much money for what they are. If you really want a Jeep, Cherokee track hawk or SRT. All wheel drive. Or look at Audi's, love my Q7 lol. Post up what you're willing to part with and ship.

I actually test drove the Audi etron and it was definitely nice. I don't know what it is about the Wrangler though, it has been my favorite so far amongst the group which included the Tesla Model S/X (haven't found a Y to try yet,) Merc G-Class, VW ID4, Cadillac V, and BMW i4. I still want to drive the Bronco and Lightning (if I can find one.)

The Wrangler I'd be getting would be the 4xe hybrid model. I test drove the Earl color which was pretty nice, but to your point the new models definitely don't warrant the price tag compared to the other vehicles I have driven. The used prices are a little more reasonable.

You're definitely paying for the "cool" and "cult" factor, but it also matches my family vibe, which we are beach goers.

Kind of interesting, if you haven't noticed by my picture, I am a pilot. I do kind of like the Jeep layout as nothing is on the door and everything is on the dash and center console, which is what it is like in the cockpit.

The family prefers the Wrangler as well as we can take the tops off. That is a big plus.

I actually grew up in Rehobeth Beach DE, so I understand the beach mentality. No beaches close enough to me now lol. I'm just not a fan of 4 door Wranglers. Even the 4 door Broncos don't appeal to me, 2 door are kind of cool, but expensive too. It's all about what you're willing to give too. Good luck with the search.

So sorry about the SHO. So that's you in your profile pic? Super-cool, dude. What kind of plane are you in?

By the way, if you're considering electrics, I test-drove a Porsche Taycan. I think it's the prettiest Porsche in their line (and I never really liked Porsches to begin with). The dual-motor is uber-pricey, but the "slow" Taycan is just over $100K (plus, there's always used). Still not quite as fast as a Tesla, but the dual-motor is f'ing FAST. Probably too steep for most wallets, but I think it's the sexiest full-electric on the planet.

I live in L.A. and work in Hollywood and Teslas are just so common here. I once counted Teslas on the way to work and back: 44. Within a one-block radius of my house, I think there are five Teslas. I have a 2019 BMW i3s full-electric as a commuter car to supplant my aging 2014 Ford Focus Electric. The i3s is fairly quick and has a nice, really tight upgraded suspension. Not the chick-magnet the Taycan is, but very practical.

Yeah it is pretty nice. I can get to work and back on one charge. My work also has charging stations that are free to use for employees, so I haven't used any gas since I purchased it.
Hybrid. I think that is the way to go honestly. I love the color.
