You can have all the gears WPC treated. Me personally, I think it is pretty stout, just need to change the gear oil often, like every other oil change and I think it’ll last nearly forever. I did add a PTU brace @aaron240 sells.

I think the Traction Concepts LSD will put a little more stress on it as it’ll temporarily lock up the front diff, sending power to the passenger front more than ever. I like the brace as added insurance.

Where did you get WPC gears and I anyone doing this with our trans?

I'm sure I can find out via search, but where did you acquire the PTU run drain plug?

Ppl have WPC treated transmission parts as well. I didn’t get my new PTU gears WPC treated it’s just a new unit with a brace. You’d need to reach out to WPC I think that’s also the business name or company.

I installed the TC LSD myself and the internal parts getting WPC you’d need to send out or have your trans removed and those things installed/treated while it was apart. Or buy another trans and have that done to it, then swap them and have a back up trans.

Either way it’s a lot to take on and do. I bought another trans out of a 2014 with 61k, opened that one up, replaced the internal trans filter, put a new solenoid body filter on it, new shaft seal, ptu side has its own shaft seal which came with the new PTU, and I am just going to send it. I have my original 2010 trans with 76k miles to build when actual upgrades are available. Or it’ll just be send it and replace, send it, replace lol. I got the drain plugs from
@Ecoboost_xsport.

Today I went through the car wash and I rolled my window down "just a little bit" during the jet dry. It was pretty extreme and I know how extreme jets can be.

My GH IC arrived yesterday.

I also had a great call and chat with @aaron240 about a nice direction for my car. He was very helpful.

He's putting together a quote for a front and rear LSD setup, along with the PTU/Brace, etc..

I'm excited to see where all this goes.

If GH is backordered I know CRPerformance out of Canada has upgraded turbochargers for the SHO.

I'm under the impression that GH does the exhaust side as well. I'm not sure how thorough the other shops are.

Try TurboBay. No backorders he only uses housing, all other parts are replaced with new OEM. And price is very good for what he does. You have to call as our platform isnt listed. Owner knows his stuff. It's a pleasure to talk to him.q

Yes, I offer the machining of the diff gears and installation of the Traction Concepts LSD into a brand new OEM differential.

I was turned away from CR when they informed me they only do upgrade on wheels but do not replace wastegates or anything else with new. TurboBay give you an all brand new turbo.

CR uses brand new turbos if you choose that option, or they can use yours if you want to send them to Canada. We sell lots of them, and while they don't replace the wastegates they are tested and verified, and if bad they will replace them. I would recommend upgrading to TurboSmart wastegates though.
