Motor was bad when i bought it from auction. Ford sent it to auction because of prior abuse. I put 30k on it till it blew for good. I was having fun with it. Had slightly low compression in cylinder 2 on the auction write up but i made it 10 compression pushing it around hard. Had a new motor on order at my performance shop just awaiting for this one to go

Im not blaming the tune. I got mad at cody for saying it needed a hpfp for saftey

It's proven that tune has alot of issues.....if it walks like a duck.....
I get it BP, you are a LMS guy. However, you cannot refute the evidence provided by numerous people here about the issues with V11. When LMS is asking for vehicle to diagnose, there are quietly acknowledging the problem.

Livernois makes a safe tune. Thats why they dont data log. So they dont lose money from engines blowing. They know what the safe limit is and thats what they work below

I'm not here to defend them sm105.
I'm not on their payroll. That's up to their staff to do.
I'm glad I've never had the problems others have experienced. But then again, my tune, or rather tunes as in plural, have all been done on their dyno.
I get Curtis and others being upset with front sales counter staff (who also post on the boards). To that all I'll say is that I know 1st hand that there is often quite the disconnect between them, and upper management.

I emailed the tuners before, great quick service. Told me what things were normal and what things needed asjusted. They really know there stuff thats why i got upset with cody on here representing livernois saying the tune is made for a hpfp to be installed and i know the tuner and anthony both told me in emails that its not needed for “my” tune. I got lots of respect for livernois, always have. I will order stuff from them soon. Salesman are trying to get comission is guess, like anywhere else

Yea, but all of mine were done on their dyno. Which makes it a completely different animal, altogether, and in turn, admittedly not qualified to comment upon this v11 or whatever **** revision they're on now.
You do know (or maybe you don't) that I use other vendors and other vendor's products on my SHO, correct? If not, well I do.

Come on now BP, I know you do. I love your car. You just happen to have a LMS motor and LMS tune. You are not in the V11 boat, I get that. I am not taking a shot at LMS. I am taking a shot at V11. For plug and play, I would still recommend older versions of LMS tunes.

I know lms claims the fastest sho, but was that on a custom tune or there plug and play? They always say brad and torrie cant make a car as fast but is that because lms used their blocks and custom dyno tune where as torrie uses data logging to the owners car. In my eyes, torrie and brad are faster then because plug and play tune to tune. Not tuned car vs lms built engine and tuned car

Im still trying to learn about this torque vectoring my 15 sho supossibly has. Does it pulse the brakes when turning hard

Was there ever a mention of needing a hpfp with the older revisions of the LMS tunes ? Why now what change in the tune ? I went with LMS from all the great reviews about them on this forum. Now everything seems wrong. What changed. If the other tunes like I think it was a 93 x tune ? Was so good why change them. LMS please explain.

I dont think anything changed. I think it just can run better with a more constant flow from the hpfp. Last i called in the other week there is no new update and ive had the same tune since july or so

So much to learn you have... I have personally run several different tuners files at the track... some that have been datalogged extensively (lots of extra abuse to dial it in) and then there is LMS who I literally did a plug and play with.
Unless you are going with Methanol, Racefuel, or E blended setups... a standard 93 octane tune that has been datalogged vs a 93 LMS plug and play tune are all pretty much within a .10th of each other at this point..

A dyno tune is never better then data log. How does a dyno tune for air pressure and wind resistance on a car. Doesnt effect engine much, it just sits there and revs. Transmission and driveline it effects. My old caddy ran real good on a dyno, put down over 600hp with 507ci big block. Would tear through its build th400 on the dyno. Put it on the road. Ran poorly. Had to tune it on the fly. Got it running real well on the street. Took it back to dyno. Was making like 30 less hp but was alot better actually on the road. We dont drive on rollers. We drive on earth with the elements. Why do you think nascar has practice sesssions to dial in cars? Do you think they get tuned at shop, took off truck and ready for raceday?

Huh, interesting I never heard of a newer SHO running that fast and I live in PA. I raced my old 2012 and 2013 alot for the last 4 years, and became friends with alot of racers. If that would of happened it would gotten around and I'm fairly certain my fellow racer friends would of told me about it. Sooo I'm not buying it, plus there is no way possible you did it on stock turbos. Also you would of had to completely strip the car down to basiclly a rolling shell. Do you realize how much these cars weight.

Launch in awd, turn off the rears after launch. Im pretty sure hes on stock turbos. Id have to ask him if he ever got the billet upgrades for like 600$ he wanted. He may have had the upgrades and tells people their stock. Car is a total sleeper. Sho badges off and swaped to normal taurus vents on sides.

My vbox had a quicker 0-60mph in Fwd only mode with mickey thompsons up front. 3.6 second in sport mode, right after i got the tune from livernois. I never had the limiter issues when i got the tune. Must of been something i done. And yes it ran that quick with a low compression cylinder. But it never threw a code or even felt like a bad engine until 30k miles of hard driving later. Fwd pulls wayyy harder. And i hate fwd cars. I put wider tires on the front for that pull close to home. Ill let you know what rim width and size they are. Rubbed alittle.....more like alot but thats why i did it close to home. Babied it to my spot and let her rip after heating them up on the way there
