Lighting questions

Just switched front grills off my parts SHO and painted it white. Put in fog lights of a totaled 98 Taurus because mine were hashed and the brackets were rusted off..Also scored some badges...Need help hooking up the connectors as my volt meter got left out in the rain.Thanks.

Also, my dash lights do not come on with the headlights unless I turn the dimmer switch all the way on???

Figured out the fog lights..

Any ideas why dash lights are not turning on unless I turn the dimmer switch all the way on? Then my dome light + door light comes on and blinds me!!!!

Dimmer switch

Can you fix the dimmer switch?? Mine doesn't light up the dash until it's in the all the way on position. Had a parts one and it didn't even do that. If I can't fix it, will one from a 2nd gen work on my 90? They look identical. The 89 was slightly different though... Thanks

Ummm.... Correct me if im wrong here, but gen 3 taurii didnt have fog lights. Looks to me like you actually used the blinker lights.

Your right one that one. They are running lights/blinkers. I wonder if they will burn out quickly. I have both leads hooked up so both the running lights and blinker light are on full time.Only when I turn the fog lights on. They probably don't work too good for fog.. I would like to get some better ones, but the brackets that the fog lights mount to are both rusted off and I can't get the screws out. Any help on the dimmer switch? Can I use a 2nd gen dimmer switch on my 90??They look the same...

Just want to wrap up this post. I need a dimmer switch that fits a 90 SHO. The one I put in for now works, but the **** is upside down It's form a 89 taurus wagon. Also need fog lights that I can mount without the stock brackets. Aloha...
