Keyless entry pad question(GEN 1).

I looked at a spare key pad and it looks the same as yours. The black wire at the bottom goes nowhere.

That key pad looks ok to me. Time to check the box and driver's door plug. I'd check the box first.

I'll check the box first then, but what do I have to look for? I mean I've already looked at the box twice but I couldn't do anything since they looked clean and stuff. That'll be nice if you can give me some ideas of what I should look for.

Finally fixed it! The culprit was the keypad. I swapped it out, and it works wonderfully! It looked ok, but I guess something happened in the keypad or something. I don't have to run about 1 mile back to house to get my another car key when i lock my car with my key in the car(I've done that). Thanks Area 91!
