Keyless Entry Issue

Seems like one of the buttons on my keyless entry has gone. When I touch it it does not light up the pad like the rest of the buttons would. Normally this would not be an issue but that button is needed for my code. Anyone know what's up with it/how i can fix it? THanks

i've got a pad to replace it for $30 plus shipping if you want it. only way i would know to fix it.
