Just put it all back together and runs funny.

I just got done putting everything back together after replacing the valve cover and the spark plug well gaskets. I started it up and it idles funny. When I step on the gas it runs very rough. It backfires every once in awhile too. Any help would be great because I'm stumped.

Hmmm, i'm no expert by any means but maybe your plug wires are not correct (wrong firing pattern.)?

I'm kinda going through the same thing too. I finally got mine started but runs really rough. When you give it gas, does it just hesitate? Did you check your grounds?

Sounds like a misplaced spark plug wire...

Also, did you reconnect the ground on the back left corner of the intake? And did you reinstall the crossover tube bolts? Also, did you plug the TPS and MAF back in?

Thank you. I had the 1 and 3 cylinders switched.
