Yes, yes he does. I'm sure he'll figure out a way to scrap one of them, but he just had to get a Gen 2 starter for clearance and hasn't sorted stuff out yet. 2 Solenoids is not recommended, it might have been the cause of some problems...

Any plans to use header rap on the piping to insulate against heat?

no i wont be using exhaust wrap on the charge pipes, i'm using this adhesive backed fibergalss heat shield stuff that has tinfoil on it kinda. ill take a pic later.

thanks for the props guys, like i said its not anywhere near done and its messy as **** to me. first thing i'm changing is stainless braided oil lines and AN fittings to/from my oil filter relocation kit. i don't trust those rubber lines, they are already kinking a bit.

As for timing, i took a bit off of the spark adder vs RPM about 5 degrees up top and 2 or 3 down low but i think ill add that back in because i'm not boosting till after 3500...about. Also i need to tweek my fuel tables because before i'm in boost i'm running between 15 and 18 before i hit boost. as soon as im in boost it drops to 12 or lower. at idle its leaner than the WB can read (higher than 18) but w/e i have some reading to do. by the way is there a ring set in procedure for the wiesco rings?

No, its actually out of a Dodge ram Cummins. This is the Holset HX35W. Rebuilt it as well with a rebuild kit off ebay. very nice turbo so far :) thanks :)

How much timing should i pull when running 94 octane on about 8-10 psi? and also what should i pull that out of? WOT spark advance? also for fuel it seems to be sucking it back pretty good despite being out of boost and running 15-16:1 afr on the highway.

1 degree retard per pound of boost okay. If you want to be safe you can retard it more.

15 16 on the highway is kinda lean but not to bad. 14.7 is desirable (spelling?)

Got the tuning figured out nd now boosts like at least twice as fast. also here are some recent pics.

im too embarrased to post any more engine bay pics.. its so ******* messy and hackjob looking... it all functiuons properly but give me a month and i should have enough money/time to do some things properly that are really bothering me.

Replace oil feed lline to turbo with a real one not a chepa ebay one.

replace oil input/output lines to and from the oil filter relocation kit with AN fittings and ss braided lines

replace all rubber couplers/reducers with silicone.

replace all hose clamps with T bolts.

rig somthing up for a speedo.

install ACT sensor in charge piping.

Install and trim bumper skin

purchase and install bigger intercooler with 3" inlet and outlet

upgrade to a 90mm lightning maf

purchase and install a new BOV

make a new wiring harness (will do that when i do a RWD conversion this winter)

replace all rubber vacume lines with silicone.

figure out my sticky starter soloniod problem

bigger brakes...
lots more i cnat remember.

P.S blaine i like that idea.
