Just picked my car up after a little over three weeks at the dealer. They performed TSB 10174...replaced the TR sensor and retaining pin. They also replaced both rear taillight lens assemblies because of defective chrome trim on both. Will report back in a day or so regarding transmission issues...gone or not gone.

My SHO has now been at the dealer for three weeks. They claim they have ordered a transmission sensor and retaining pin, have recieved it, but I don't know what is delaying their completion of the work. I think I'm about ready to raise some **** with the service manager.

Retnavy, did the sensor and pin replacement done on your vehicle fix the problem?

I've not been on a long run. For what it's worth, I've made a round trip to DC and back with no issues. But, the I-95 route doesn't quite run a constant speed. Will need a longer trip to see. One thing I did notice, the car shifts better than before, may just be a seat of the pants feel, but it feels different, in a good way.

Note, if you have SYNC, you can generate the codes as a Vehicle Health Report. Gotta have your phone paired to the system and an e-mail address registered. Generate and send the report "BEFORE" you shut the ignition off. Once you restart, you'll loose the codes. "THEY AREN'T SAVED!"

Have made three 90 mile round trips with the new TR sensor. The car drives like a completely different vehicle. Much smoother and consistent shifting. No drop-outs into limp-home mode, no cruise control drop-outs. Definitely worth the wait to get it done. Will continue to monitor and report back. Next...will keep an eye (and ear) on front brakes. I've noticed some noise as I come to a stop. Now I understand there is a TSB for the front brakes.
