Is there an after market radiator that is of one composition? This is like the 3rd lifetime warranted radiator. If not a direct OEM, how about one of the Summit units? Otherwise I may just be the first, and take my tape measure out there and MAKE one fit.

The original '89 radiators were, but I don't know that anyone ever made a replacement and I know Ford hasn't had them for a very, very, very long time.

What is failing on your radiators?

I've have had very good experience with Modine radiators, and have found the Spectra radiators to be kind of crappy. GDI about so-so.

Are they all leaking at the tanks? I will recrimp even a new tank. Had one leak from day one and don't want to do that again.

That's exactly what happened to me. New replacement began to leak at the tanks, so I had it recrimped.

Yep, they are all leaking at the tanks. Of course mostly on the drivers side. Seems that "re-crimping" is only a stop gap measure as the expansion of the aluminum is significantly different than that of the HDPE.

I would lay a bead of RTV around the entire tank. I haven't done this myself, but it seems like a good thing to do... of course, if it isn't, lemme know...

Problem with the RTV is it's applied to the outside of a seam instead in between it. I'm fairly certain that the expansion/contraction cycles would work it loose too.
