Hey guys. A new problem has arisen in the 98 today and it has me worried.
While sitting in traffic or at a stoplight the car will just die. It won't stutter before dying, won't run funny, no SES lights. It starts right back up and I go on my merry way, but it happened tonight w/in a mile of each other and I Have no idea what the issue is. The theft light isn't flashing so I assume its not a PATS issue, again no SES light coming on, when it runs it runs normally.
I hate electrical issues. It seems to happen w/the climate control on "Auto" and it is almost like it happens with the AC compressor cycle. While driving earlier today it was like the AC compressor went on like normal and the car was able to keep itself running albeit with the lights dimming to almost nothing and coming back.. Im going to try and run with it on "Vent" and see if there is something to that.
Any ideas? I read possible cam sensor, FPR, IAC valve ...
Fuel filter was changed ~15,000 miles ago, FPR is stock, IAC I believe is stock
