I have the premium (not the JBL) system in my car and recently purchased the subwoofer and the two JBL amps from a SHO that had the JBL system.
Now, the amp that powers the subwoofer has two wires coming off it, a red and yellow, where do these connect to? and if they are the power leads how much power(volts) powers the sub amp?
If anyone has a wiring diagram of the JBL system please email it to me @ [email protected] If not where can I get one?
Thank you.

everything plugs in in the trunk, all the plugs are there. In adittion to the amps and sub you need thie little black box about 3 inches square that mounts inbetween the amps. just plug it all in and enjoy

Not true. You will also need the gray wire that runs to the back. There is quite a few extra wires that Ford used for the JBL that you will need before it works. All the correct plugs are in the dash for JBL hookup, but not that gray wire for sure.

I had to tear under my carpet in my 93 and run a few necessary wires from a JBL parts car before mine worked.

Gray wire? What gray wire and what does it do?

My whole swap (93 JBL equipment into 95 Premium Sound) was plug-n-play. Very simple and I did not have to do any digging.

Wtf! There was a thick gray wire that I had to come up with on both my 93 and silver 94 I swapped JBL on. I guess I don't remember what it was for though. I'm pretty sure it had a connector at the end that went into the back of the radio and ran to one of the amps (using another connector).
