Wednesday night drags was beautiful at Infineon/Sears Point, CA. Started out in the 80's ended at 67 degrees. I was able to get 8 runs in. 4 during the practice session and 4 in the bracket racing. Not bad for $25. Improved my E/T to 15.647. Took on the dreaded "C's" in the bracket racing a Corvete Z06, Mustang Cobra and Camero Z28. I had a 2-4 second head start on them and I think they got rattled. One guy jumped the gun and went red light, one broke out of his bracket trying to catch me, and one totally missed his reaction time when I was half way down the track by the time he got the green. Anyway, the SHO got a lot of double takes and comments, "Is that really a Yamaha engine?" Not too bad for a four door "grocery getter". Watch NASCAR at Infineon on June 25th.

Hey, When are you going back to Sears Point? The reason I ask is i might go tomorrow (6/14/06)

If i do make it would just be to see how slow my car is stock. Im thinking like 15.9 or 16 :(

I won't be at Sears Point tomorrow. But, some members from the baySHO club are going on July 12th. Myself with my 98 and others with Gen 1 and 2's. Mark it on your calendar. Hope to see you there.

You wana be sick my 1993 1TON diesel pulls better times then my 98 SHO... And it tips the scales at 8200#.. 15.4's all day... I gota get my SHO out to the track though just to see how well it will do. I am in 5th place in the NHRDA this year so I gota keep up the pace with the truck for now lots of events. www.nhrda.com I was just down in Redding CA last weekend. Drove 600 miles raced and drove back 600 miles to Seattle... All that and I got K/O'ed in the first round. Was a real fun event we have some truck in the 10's..
