Did full bare block rebuild, got everything done and ready for first start up and there was a fuel leak on the fuel rail. So that is holding me up right now. I have to heli-coil a broken bolt that holds the fuel rail onto the heads and injectors...

My main problem is there is no clutch pedal. I made a bad decision and got a ebay stage 2 clutch, and it came with the older style TOB (It did not fit on the hardened steel sleeve on the shaft). I got the TOB installed and working good, cleaned up the tranny and greased everything that needs grease. With everything installed in car, the clutch starts engaging about an inch away from the floor board. I was told that these cars have self adjusting clutch pedals or whatever, and i have moved the pedal to the floor and all the way up lots of times, no difference. Anybody have any advice?

The clutch cables will stretch and need to be replaced. You also can get underneath the dash and manually adjust the "adjuster", but it can be a PITA.

when the clutch pedal is lifted/pulled up the pawl that holds the cable rides up a ramp on the quadrant that disengages the teeth. the tension from the pressure plate pulls the cable back.
