Well, i listed the car forsale, but I still wanna try to make it run right.

Couple things.

I had everything out of the motor, including the wiring harness. When everything was installed again, it was installed along with the digital iginition system.

Heres the problem, I get no tach, no fuel pump, and no air fuel ratio guage. The Check oil light came on, added oil, i was one quart short, so i know that the pcm does work.

Jumped the fuel pump to see if the car would start, and it did, just with a little jumpy, but not bad idle.

I just don't get it, everything seems to be hooked up right, and everything else works, just not those three things.

Any ideas, maybe even something stupid, cause all it probably is is a wire or a ground. I am just so frustrated.

Even tho I am selling it, i would like to drive it and enjoy it for atleast a day.

Does the fuel pump come on for a few seconds when you first turn the ignition on?

Does jumpering the fuel pump at the EEC-Test connector work properly?

I wouldn't normally think the fuel pump and tach and A/F gauges would all be related (your A/F gauge is just a standard one that taps into the O2 sensor, right?). If you have any ground connection on your engine you should get *something* -- I had problems when I lost my connection but just dropping a wire from the battery - to one of the intake runner bolts fixed it until I found that I'd forgotten to put in the factory one at the rear of the motor.

Is the aftermarket ignition system easy enough to remove/take out of the loop?

O.K.

Tach - won't work when a MSD-4 is hooked up unless you cut one of the wires on the DIS and run it to the "tach out" on the MSD-4. I don't have my SHO here, so I really can't tell you which wire ... maybe, the top right wire, I think it's brown.

Fuel Pump - you did reset the switch in the trunk?

A/F Gauge - if it's not a WB02, more than likely it's not been connected at the 02 wire.

I think trying to get it back to stock ignition setup would be a good place to start. Is the MSD a new unit? They have been known to crap out on people.
